Adobe Photoshop Elements software combines power and simplicity so you can easily tell great

Course Description
In this course you will learn to use retouching and selecting tools, layers, effects, filters and create
multi image montages. You will also get a good understanding of file sizes, file types and also change
and correct colour balances and contrast.
Who is the course designed for?
Anyone who wants to be able to use Photoshop Elements for retouching, as well as creating multiple
image compositions from the home-user to the professional.

Do I get notes?
You will be given a free book at the end of the course. We use the Quickstart books as they are easy
to read and find answers in without having to read a whole chapter.
Can I use Photoshop Creative Suite?
Photoshop Creative Suite (CS) is very different to Elements so we would recommend you come on a
CS3 course.
Pre-Requisites
Before starting the course, you should have a basic understanding of your computer's operating
system. For example, you should know how to launch an application, save files and do simple
navigation between programs.
Will I be trained on a PC or Mac?
We have both PC and Mac and you can choose whichever you prefer.
