Photoshop is the current market leader for commercial image manipulation and creation and is
considered the industry standard in most jobs related to the use of visual elements.
Course Description
This Photoshop training course allows you to master the more advanced features of the powerful
Adobe Photoshop software package.
Who is the course designed for?
This course is designed for anyone with existing competence in a Photoshop Creative Suite package.

Can I use Photoshop Elements?
Photoshop Elements is very different to CS3 so we would recommend you come on an Elements
course.
Pre-Requisites
Before starting the course, you should have a good understanding of any late version of Photoshop or
attendance on the Intermediate course.
On Completion
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
• Work with all the advanced layer and masking features including Smart Objects
• Have an excellent understanding of vectors within Photoshop and be able to draw paths to a
high standard
• Work with and create channels for image adjustments, sharpening techniques and to create
metallic surfaces
• Understanding of colour settings and profiles
