If you are a hobbyist or a point and shoot happy snapper or your company has given you a digital camera and told you to shoot then this Introduction to digital photography course is specific to your needs.

Course Description
Through this course, you will learn basic photographic techniques including both creative and theoretical practices, including a combination of practical work and theory. You will get to know your camera in detail.

Who is the course designed for?
Anyone who wants to learn more about their camera, its functions and photography in general.

Do I get notes?
You will be given a free book or notes at the end of the course.

Pre-Requisites
There are no pre-requisites for this course, however, you do need to own or have access to a digital camera to bring with you on the day. This can be a “point & shoot” variety, Digital SLR or anything in-between, (providing it’s digital)!

If you do not own your own camera and are unable to borrow one for the day, we are able to provide you with details of a company that hires out cameras, lenses and equipment.

On Completion
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
• Know your camera and its functions in detail
• Understand exposure
• Have a good working knowledge of flash and lighting (indoors and outdoors)
• Compose pleasing portraits and scenes
